Map:

The drive to O’Reily’s is very windy – 30km worth of very windy. After all the twists and turns getting there, it is a pleasure to set foot into the rainforest.

The Tree Top Walk is noticeably wobbly. After 3 decades of use, it is showing signs of wear and tear, however it does provide a novel forest experience.

An optional 2 viewing platforms can be accessed via ladders. There are limited numbers permitted in each section, so be sure to look up before climbing up.

After the Tree Top Walk, the path takes you past the Mountain Gardens. This is a small, but lovely area.

The walking track then connects to the Rainforest Return and Boarder Track. Options are to continue for a longer bushwalk or return to Green Mountains Trailhead.

O’Reily’s offers many activities, some free, some for a fee. There is a cafe and a large picnic area. Plan to spend a day here, or better yet take advantage of the various accommodation options and make it a getaway.
