Toowoomba, The Garden City, is home to the beautiful Queens Park. Set on 25 hectares in the east of the city, Queens Park is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whilst not strictly a bushwalk, Queens Park is too beautiful not to share.

If you are spending a day in Toowoomba, Queens Park needs to be on the must see list. Just down the road from the Cobb+Co Museum, the park has plenty of parking (unless you go during the Carnival of Flowers when parking can be busy). There are over 3km in paths that will take you to the parks numerous attractions.
The Botanic Gardens are lovely and are worth taking the time to explore. Established in the late 1800’s the gardens hold decades of wisdom and experience.
Many different types of trees have been strategically planted throughout the 25 hectares and provide visitors with a unique experience.
In spring the flower beds are delightful, but any season is a joy to visit Queens Park.
With playgrounds to entertain childern, picnic grounds and BBQ facilities, plenty of public toilets and beauty everywhere you look, Queens Park has something for everyone. Queens Park is a truly uplifting place.
