Mt Tibrogargan carpark is a junction for multiple walks around the Glass House Mountains. Information boards clearly show the available walks. There is plenty of parking spaces in the nature focused carpark that was upgraded in 2020.

The Base Circuit of Mt Tibrogargan is a straight forward, easy, 4km walk that provides views to many of the other Glass House Mountains. Seating has been strategically placed along the track to provide spots to stop and catch your breath while enjoying spectacular views.

The track is wide enough for two abreast for most of the way. Cute stone and wood bridges blend well into the landscape. There is access to the summit track from the Base Circuit. The warning signs aren’t joking when they say experienced climbers only – having some mountain goat DNA would be ideal. The summit access is scary!

The picnic tables at the carpark are well placed to enjoy an after bushwalk snack while still being immersed in nature.

Mt Tibrogargan Base Circuit is an ideal beginners bushwalk. With many other bushwalks starting from the same carpark, this bushwalk may just inspire you to tackle one of the more challenging walks.
