One of the truly glorious places in South East Queensland, Mount Tamborine Botanical Gardens is a sheer delight. The volunteer run gardens are ideally suited for a leisurely stroll, allowing time to soak in the ambiance and discover the hidden treasures. The gardens include a lake centerpiece, rainforest walk, Japanese gardens, a children’s discovery walk and much, much more.

Located only a short drive from Tamborine Mountain’s famous Gallery Walk, the Botanical Gardens are a highlight of any visit to the mountain. Beautiful at any time of year, the gardens are always a delight. However one weekend each September a Springtime Festival is held.
Sooty Owl’s Creekside Trail is a must see spot if you have small children with you. This child discovery trail has hidden treasures to find, a hands on sculpture to make music and a water mill.
There are plenty of spots to stop and immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural surrounds. Picnic areas abound, so be sure to take lunch or at the very least morning or afternoon tea. Mount Tamborine Botanical Gardens is a venue to be savored and supported.
